Terms and conditions
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These are the ground rules for using U-Pick Near and for buying a Featured spot. We kept them short and in plain words. By using the site you agree to them.
Who runs U-Pick Near
U-Pick Near is run by Tiny Labs LLC, a small independent studio. When these terms say "we" or "us," they mean Tiny Labs LLC. We are not a farm, and we are not affiliated with the farms we list unless a page says so.
Farm info is for planning
Farm names, addresses, activities and listing dates come from public sources: the USDA Local Food Directories, the National Christmas Tree Association locator and OpenStreetMap. Seasons are typical ranges, not promises. Listings can be out of date, and a farm can close, change its hours or sell out at any time. Please confirm with the farm before you go.
Tickets, prices, picking rules, refunds and anything that happens at the farm are handled by the farm, not by us.
Visiting a farm
You visit farms at your own risk. Follow each farm's rules and staff. Farms have uneven ground, tools, animals, insects, plants and machinery. Watch your kids, check whether pets are allowed, and think about allergies and sun. The weather on our pages comes from the US National Weather Service and is a forecast, not a guarantee.
Featured spots
Farms can pay for a Featured spot:
- One season: $49, one-time, for one activity on your city, state and matching activity pages for that activity's season.
- Full year: $99, one-time, for every activity you offer on those pages for 12 months.
Here is how every Featured spot works:
- What we guarantee. Your spot runs on the pages and dates you paid for. We don't guarantee any number of visits, clicks or sales.
- Always labeled. Paid spots are labeled Featured. Paying never changes the free listings or their order.
- Payment. Payments go through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Nothing renews automatically.
- All sales are final once your spot goes live.
- When we refund you in full. If we can't run your spot, you get all your money back. For example: your farm is outside the areas we cover, you paid twice by mistake, or the site is down for a meaningful part of your dates.
- We can say no. We can decline or remove a listing that is misleading, spam or unsafe. If we remove it before it runs, we refund you in full.
Claims, fixes and removals
Adding, fixing or removing a listing is free. Send it through the add or claim form or our contact page. We may check a change with the farm first, and we can edit, shorten or decline what we publish.
What you send us
When you send us text or photos through a form or by email, you confirm you have the right to share them, and you let us use them to update and show the listing on U-Pick Near.
Affiliate links
Some "Handy for the trip" links are affiliate links to Amazon, at no extra cost to you (see the note in the site footer). Affiliate links never change which farms we list or how we sort them.
Your saved list
Your picking list is stored in your own browser. We don't receive it, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
Names and other sites
Farm names and logos belong to their owners. Links to farm websites, maps and stores go to sites we don't control, with their own terms.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the site accurate and online, but U-Pick Near is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, Tiny Labs LLC isn't responsible for indirect or knock-on losses from using the site or a Featured spot, such as a wasted trip, a closed farm or lost sales. If we do owe you something, the most we owe is what you paid us for the spot in question.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the new version applies. A Featured spot you already paid for runs under the terms that were in place when you bought it.
